Trust is da shiznit and cards for insight is trusted play formats at questions, understanding and insights scope and social machine scale.

In a network, play^n to learn about, connect, talk, know, like, transact, triangulate, trust, relate and coordinate human effort to preferable outcomes.

Play^n > Play
Consider the expression, ‘we play to win’. Now consider a superset to that expression, ‘we play^n to win^’. Game^n magic resides alive and well beyond our personal suspicion comfort zone. Trust your cynicism. Embrace your suspicion, understand the deeper signal, transform it, and then, take thought, take one small different step, make one significant, different move.

Card: Trust
triangulate,
trust and
coordinate
human effort

— How would we know? — Flow. Flow is how we know.

How to play

  1. You gather a small group around a question.
  2. You pick cards from a relevant deck.
  3. You converse and jot down insights.
  4. You conclude by turning the session into a knowledge artifact.

Boundary Objects: Trust Affordances

“Bit by bit I concluded that the ‘crisis of trust’ that supposedly grips us
is better described as an attitude, indeed a culture, of suspicion.”
— Onora O’Neill

Suspicion is the anti-pattern to trust. Patterning is movement.

“Trust movement.”
— Alfred Adler

Cards for Insight
Addressing your questions, unfolding roped paths through our Waste Land of Shared Misery, seeing ourselves through the Culture of Suspicion.

Trust is unmuddling
Trust is holding a generative space for a requisite variety of paths between situational awareness and preferable outcomes. Paths and preferable outcomes are functions of reframing, narrating, understanding, imagineering, unmuddling, practicing and decision quality (generative review).

Cards are unmuddling affordances
Cards are decision quality, possibility space, reframing, sensemaking, meaning-making and generative sequence affordances.

Reframing is meaning-making scaffolding
Card decks are frames, helping you reflect, reframe, rethink, play and enact.

Knowledge artifacts, metalayers and tokens
Cards, card decks and card sessions turned knowledge artifacts, shared to online knowledge commons, can be fitted with token metalayers.

Cards and modular process ontologies
Cards, knowledge artifacts and boundary objects, evolving with social social media homesteading, augmented by an underlying large finite set patterns, a modular process ontology.

Card sessions and social social media
A social social media with a different social machine as a game^n engine, with a patterning pattern language designed to support sharing of information (chat) and creation of knowledge (card sessions), where trusted participant, player and meaning-maker activity is recognized and social computing resources, allocated.

Cards, insights and heuristics
Heuristics are how we see ourselves through. Cards for Insight, the underlying supporting, augmenting structure, is designed with the three orchestrating heuristics, play^n, game^n and win^n in mind.

Cards providing roped paths to plenitude
Way station stops, at which a bus named Plenitude, forming part of a place, a wise playground with Cards for Insight moves, formats and sessions, inviting, onboarding and seating 8bn humans and all other living beings.

Finding and inviting the others to adjacent possible sessions
It’s easier to move into Adjacent Possibles, if there’s onboarding, scaffolding and roped paths structures. You reach out and help others climb onboard.

Structure Capital
103% of the point of adding Structure Capital as a sub-title, is for reasons of backward compatibility. Heuristics are compatibility and shared understanding affordances. Shared understanding begets trust.

Here’s a trust equation:

heuristics = structures x questions x lines x processes x flows

Here’s a useful subset, a flow equation:

knowledge flows = sensemaking x conversation

In both equations:

“x” = patterning

Flow: Patterning of Trust
Pattterning a generative sequence:

learn about, connect, talk, know, like, transact, triangulate, trust, relate and coordinate

This is a generative sequence, helping you play to understand trust.
All generative sequences draws forth structure-preserving transformations. You start from your cynicism and suspicion comfort zone and arrive at coordination of human effort, with paths made by joint sauntering.

S-curve all the thinks
Other generative sequences can be used for s-curve traversals between old and new narratives, as well as provide roped paths through complex problem and possibility spaces.

Trust is da shiznit and cards for insight is trusted play formats at social machine scale.

Process Capital
Conversations and complex responsive processes are to enkinaesthesia, what projects, unfolding paths and complex adaptive structures are to synkinaesthesia. 103% of the point of adding Process Capital as a sub-title, is for reasons of backward compatibility. Edge insights are good, and turned great when rekindling one million villages, returning to the hustle of the village square.

Card: Synkinaesthesia
Mind evolving, in service
to evolutionary co-agency.

Synkinaesthesia is to vector, what enkinaesthesia is to field.

flow = structure x process

Flow and Agency; Agency and Flow

Synkinaesthesia is to vector, what enkinaesthesia is to field. Together, they form evolutionary agency, with annealing of essential character in a context of human social collective intelligence and anticipatory systems intelligence turned ability and purpose.

Trust as a verb, co-extensive with 103% of our grasp
103% of human trust is about patterns of play^n, game^n and win^n in the intersects of behavior, feedback and agency.

— How would we know?
— Flow. Flow is how we know.

— Knowledge?
— Yes. Knowledge in a context of trust.

— So, contextual intelligence turned ability then?
— Yes.

— John, this is great stuff, but where’s the market?
— Do you know about the Tools for Thought market?
— Yes…?
— Cards for Insight is in the Tools for Social Cognition at Social
Machine Scale -market. It is to online conversations that mind,
cultivate and matter, what tools for thought is to annotations.

— But, what has that got to do with trust?
— Everything, should you choose to play.

Q&U: Cards considered in light of generative questions.

— Do I detect… elm?… turtles? Traces of suspicion?
— Yes, my lord.

“Trust movement.”
— Alfred Adler
